Westfall Local Schools will sponsor a District-Wide Hat Day on Friday, March 14. For a donation of $1, you can wear your favorite hat to school. All proceeds will help a Westfall family in need. Thank you for your support!
Mrs. Davey’s 8th-grade ELA classes are diving into Greek Mythology! This week, they explored the story of Persephone and discovered the connection between the Greek goddess, pomegranates, and the changing of the seasons. To bring the myth to life, students sampled pomegranate juice before enjoying Disney’s Hercules! What a fun way to blend literature and history with a treat!
Mrs. Trivette’s 8th-grade Language Arts students are mastering structured writing with a color-coded approach. Using highlighters to break down hooks, thesis statements, evidence, and conclusions, they’re organizing their thoughts one color at a time. Great job!
